Position Overview:
The Senior Project Manager is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing large-scale, complex projects from inception to completion. This role goes beyond day-to-day project execution, focusing on program-level oversight, client relationship management, and continuous improvement of project delivery standards. Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and internal leadership, the Senior Project Manager ensures alignment with organizational goals, drives operational efficiency, and mentors junior project managers and coordinators. This position requires exceptional leadership, advanced technical understanding of AV systems, and the ability to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Strategic Project Leadership
• Lead planning and execution of high-complexity projects with budgets exceeding $1M, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop program-level strategies for resource allocation, risk mitigation, and quality assurance.
• Serve as escalation point for critical project issues and client concerns.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as the primary liaison for executive-level client stakeholders, fostering long-term relationships and trust.
• Negotiate contracts, change orders, and scope adjustments with confidence and clarity.
• Represent TechMDinc at industry events, client presentations, and strategic planning sessions.
Team Development & Mentorship
• Supervise and mentor Project Managers, Coordinators, and cross-functional teams.
• Establish best practices for project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid approaches).
• Drive professional development initiatives and succession planning within the project management team.
Financial & Risk Management
• Oversee project financials, including forecasting, margin analysis, and profitability tracking.
• Implement advanced risk management frameworks and contingency planning for mission-critical projects.
Process Improvement & Innovation
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with leadership to refine project delivery standards and integrate new technologies/tools.

Core Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of progressive project management experience, including 3+ years in a senior or leadership role managing complex technical projects.
• Proven track record in themed entertainment, AV integration, or large-scale construction projects.
• Certifications: PMP or equivalent required
• Familiarity with AV systems (audio, video, lighting, control) and construction workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in project management tools (Wrike, MS Project), financial analysis, and risk management.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and lead cross-functional teams under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar projects in themed entertainment or AV sectors.
• Strong understanding of contract law and vendor management.
• Ability to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry conferences.•
