Meet George Binder – Associate Engineer

The immersive sensation of so many TechMDinc projects relies, in part, on the technical know-how of Associate Engineer George Binder. His patience and perfectionism help him build electronic racks and install equipment that delivers the audio and video content for attractions including the U.S.A. Pavilion at the World Expo in Astana, Kazakhstan, Fantasyland at Tokyo Disneyland, and Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland in Anaheim.

His career began with a love of music and a role as a recording studio sound engineer working with stars including Prince, Yes, Kenny Rogers, and The Bangles. For all these artists and more, George managed the technical side of sound. When it came time to look for a more predictable schedule, he designed the system and oversaw the production that brought personal listening stations to Tower Records. Before too long, the internet age gave everyone direct access to music from (almost) anywhere in the world.

In 2015, George signed on at TechMDinc as an assembly technician and fabricator, eventually becoming an Associate Engineer. His problem solving, appetite for learning, eagerness to help others and ability to create solutions make him a valuable asset to the TechMDinc team.
